1950’s Bridal Shower Party

Created by a team of fantastic designers/planners including Kristen of Kio Kreations, this fabulous 1950’s Bridal Shower was a splashing success. Using a variety of vintage favorites, this party had everything that a bride could want for celebrating her special pending nuptials.

1950's Bridal Shower Party guests

One of the big stand-out activities for this party included the guests dressing to match the theme. With gorgeous, classic 1950’s attire in bold colors and prints, the outfits helped to set the tone for the entire event. Not to be left out, each lovely lady got to sport the luscious scarlet lip as well, really standing out beautifully. They each got to wear some flirty fake lashes and some winged eyeliner too, giving this gathering a bit of excitement and style for all. A couple of extra touches included fashion friendly hairstyles with rolled bangs and lots of curls and vintage floral aprons to finish the looks.

Some adorable classic decor included Coke bottles and delicious looking faux sundaes topped with vibrant carnations, the 1950’s flower pick. With a mix of daisies in the spread, this party venue had a wonderful arrangement of floral beauty. In addition to the real, beautiful flowers, each of the yummy treats was topped with cute little polka-dot button flowers.

For a unique and fun way to remember this sweet party, each of the guests was able to take home their very own adorable button bobby pin with 3-D flowers, rhinestones and fun stacked buttons. Another brilliant idea was the little mini aprons that they each got to create for their dish soap bottles to wear.

This party was chock-full of innovation and design plusses that made it a one-of-a-kind way to celebrate the future.  With a bit of love and a lot of hard work, this 1950’s party looked like a blast!

Using a fun, Rustic theme, Jennifer of Sweet Tooth Buffets created a memorable bridal shower for all those invited to enjoy thoroughly. Using a gorgeous outdoor space, this event had all the benefits of natural lighting along with natural elements that enhanced the sweet rustic charm that was incorporated through the entire venue.

The guest table set-up was excellently thought out with a massive canopy over top to create shade so everyone could stay comfortable. Two rows of long tables were set up giving that family style arrangement for added closeness. Each table had a white cover with a fantastic hession table runner that highlighted the charm of the decorations on top. Adorable arrangements of flowers in varying sized vases created a layered effect that still ensured that guests could see each other for easy conversation. Wonderful Tiffany chairs brought a touch of elegance to the layout, while providing a comfy place to relax. Overhead a neat natural element was wrapped down the center of the canopy to add to the rustic theme.

The food was laid out with precision on a long table covered in a black cloth, ensuring all the bright colors of the delicacies would stand out. Abundantly full trays of fresh fruit in a range of vibrant tones, giving a healthy option for snacking.  Tiered stands were used to hold delicious pudding snacks.

To display the fantastic celebratory cake, an old-school vintage style desk was set up and covered with beautiful florals and more little treats.  The cake was showcased in the center on a large, lovely cake tray. It was topped with a sweet bundle of flowers and bride-to-be’s name stood out for all to enjoy.  With a simple elegance, this Rustic Themed Bridal Shower had everything one could want out of a party.

Pink, Mint and Gold Bridal Shower

Undercover Hostess left nothing out of this fantastic Pink and Mint Glamorous Bridal Shower Party. With cute decor and fun, glitzy colors, this party could be a hit for any bride-to-be!

Pink, Mint and Gold Bridal Shower ideas

The venue used had wonderful stark white walls, so all of the soft color tones used in the theme stood out in an elegant way. A white table was used to hold some tasty treats and instead of a conventional cover that would covered up the beauty of it, a runner was used down the middle that added shimmer to the look. An adorable sign was created in gold on a soft chevron pattern that said, “from Miss to Mrs.” ensuring that everyone knew what this wonderful party was all about. In the center of the table a gorgeous vintage style cake tray held tasty cake pops for the guests to enjoy.  To the side of the table elegant champagne glasses waited to quench everyone’s thirst. For a unique creative touch, tassels were made in the pretty theme colors and hung as banners both across the front of the table and on the wall as the backdrop.  Balloons were precisely placed, adding a fun pop of color.

Rather than having all of the treats on just one table, they were spread effectively throughout, a second table was set up and covered with a glamourous gold textured cover that stood out dramatically. The letters A&H were placed in the center for an eye-catching decorative option. Crepe paper was hung vertically as a backdrop bringing the soft theme tones out beautifully. On this table, delicious cupcakes were laid out, making it easy to grab and go. A variety of lovely trays were used to hold them, adding to the elegance of the event.

Girl Scout Bridal Shower

Bringing a touch of childhood sentiment into the celebration of the next branch of a life’s journey, this bridal shower was unique and fun with it’s Girl Scout inspired theme.

A smooth blend of camo colors, pink and gold were used to give the bride-to-be’s venue an elegant and exciting look for the guests to enjoy.

Girl Scout Bridal Shower dessert table

Being such an outdoor theme, it was only fitting that an outside space was used for the get-together, allowing Beau & Arrow Events to utilize all sorts of wonderful diy ideas while taking advantage of an abundance of natural lighting which always makes for fantastic photos.

Some fun details that made this party one of a kind included the invitations sent to the guests. They were created with a lovely mash-up of colors and patterns and had the Girl Scout phrase “Always Be Prepared” as the logo at the top, so all of the guests would easily know the theme. A cute little RSVP card was included emphasizing that there were “No Boys Allowed” for an adorable touch.

A fantastically usable idea was executed at this party that could be a major help to brides everywhere.  Each guest was encouraged to bring a needed item for the big day to help the bride to be prepared.  The items were then placed in a tin lunch box that had been spray painted gold and had a label saying, “Always Be Prepared” on top.

The guest tables were pure elegance with a deep green cloth as the base and golden dishware to complement the look.  A bountiful bouquet of lovely flowers made the perfect centerpiece for the table.

An elegant cake was made by Hey! There Cupcake, matching the theme to perfection with its own personal banner of medallions.  It was made with two layers that were frosted in white so the deep green of the banner stood out dramatically.
