This Elegant Spring Bridal Cocktail Party brought the beverage part of the party to life with all sorts delightful concoctions for guests to enjoy.  Designed by The Little Things, the venue for this get-together was a perfect blend of elegance and style.

The invitations for the party were gorgeous creations of purple, pink and green with a soft font that looked quite lovely.

The venue chosen for the event was very beautiful with lots of windows for natural lighting and fantastic wood floors.  Guest tables of pure white were a wonderful stage for overflowing bouquets of colorful flowers.  With candlesticks and elegant dinnerware, the tables were sure to have guests feeling luxurious.

Treats offered included fantastic macarons in pastels that blended with the theme in a delicious way.

The drinks created at this party were purely delicious and with these recipes you can make your own right at home!

Kir Royales

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons creme de cassis

1/4 cup fresh raspberries

1 bottle moderately priced French Champagne, chilled

Preparation: Place 4 champagne flutes in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Remove and add 1 tablespoon of the creme de cassis to each flute and a few raspberries. Fill each flute to the top with champagne and serve immediately.

Peach Rosemary Spritzers

Ingredients:

3/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups water

4 large ripe peaches (about 1 3/4 pounds), halved, pitted, and cut into 1-inch slices

4 sprigs rosemary, plus more for garnish

Ice, for serving

4 cups cold white or rose wine

1 liter cold club soda

Preparation: Bring sugar and water to a boil in a medium saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add peaches and rosemary, and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat. Cover, and let cool. Discard rosemary. Peel peach slices if desired. Transfer peaches with syrup to a container, cover; Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight. Place 2 peach slices and about 1/4 cup syrup in 8 ice-filled glasses. Add 1/2 cup wine to each; top with club soda. Garnish each with a rosemary sprig, and serve immediately.

The Lillet Rose

Ingredients:

12 ounces Lillet Rose

12 ounces ruby red grapefruit juice

6 ounces gin

6 edible flowers

Preparation: Combine 6 ounces Lillet, 6 ounces grapefruit juice, 3 ounces gin, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake until well chilled. Strain and divide cocktail among 3 stemmed cocktail glasses, such as champagne coupes. Repeat. Garnish with flowers; Serve immediately.

Love was most certainly in the air with this lavish Outdoor Vintage Lace Tea Party Bridal Shower. The mom of the bride took joy in creating all sorts of diy decor for the event, giving a personal and fantastic look that her daughter was sure to appreciate.
Events in the City coordinated and oversaw all of the work involved in this lovely extravaganza.
The party was abundant in pastel colors and being held outdoors every bit was brightly lit up by the natural sunlight. The guest tables were a vision in one long, family style row that was sure to keep everyone comfy and cozy. Wonderful floral covers draped long over the tables and the chairs matched perfectly with a pretty green color. For centerpieces down the table tall silver trays displayed teapots, pearls and flowers, embracing this vintage theme beautifully. Glasses in pink filled the tables with color along with the gorgeous single flowers that were on each plate, those were even tied with spring green ribbons. Above the table was a canopy, providing cool shade as the guests ate, and to add to the decor, a row of parasols at varying lengths hung gracefully with strings of hearts in pastels.
The treat table was intricately put together with a pretty ivory backdrop of fabric with ornate framed art hung in front to draw attention. The front of the table had a thick covering of tulle in a rainbow of pastels. Treats covered the whole table, providing a ton of options for everyone to try out. From colorful macarons to precisely detailed cakepops, there was something for all to love. Tea bags were even personally tagged with the bride and groom’s names for a fun addition.
To offer a unique activity, a table was designated for manicures with a vintage framed bit of art saying “Keep Calm and Stay Polished.” This table was full of all things nail related from files to polish so each guest could pretty their hands up.

Created by Krown Kreations & Celebrations, this Modern Black and White Striped Bridal Shower was the perfect blend of bold stripes and bright colors.  It was set outdoors where the natural sunlight could light up all the details in a brilliant display for guests to enjoy.

Using a lovely vintage style dresser rather than a standard table for a welcome, this section looked absolutely fantastic.  A backdrop of horizontal black and white stripes drew the eye and a lovely golden sparkle heart was the perfect accent to this board. A large banner was hung in front of the dresser saying, “Gifts” so guests would know right where to go. Beside this area a small three tiered stand stood with gifts for the guests to take home with them, it was decorated with a backdrop of black and white horizontal stripes, matching the Modern Black and White Striped Bridal Shower smoothly.  To accent this decor a gorgeous vine of florals was draped across the top.

Yummy sweets offered at this gathering included truffles, cupcakes, chocolate peanut butter, deliciously frosted cookies and more.

A special beverage area was set up to match the treats on another fantastic vintage style dresser.  This one had a fun sign draped across in pink, gold, black and white saying, “Bride.” As a backdrop behind the table a banner saying, “Drinks” stood out so everyone knew where to quench their thirst. Tasty lemonade and ice tea were offered in unique beverage dispensers that added a sophisticated look to the table. For decor, flowers were set out on one side, adding to the natural outdoors venue.

Glitz and glamour were beautiful incorporated throughout the venue in fun ways from the black and white striped tray that held cupcakes to the gold and pink labels used on the various treats.

This gorgeous bridal shower was created by Krown Kreations & Celebrations, who used the theme Let Love Sparkle to give a special bride-to-be a day to remember forever. With black and white as base colors with pink and gold to accent, the venue for this party was a fantastic blend of sophistication and sparkle.

The dessert table was a sparkle festival with a table covered in a brilliant golden cover.  A black and white striped backdrop made the perfect setting for a fabulous gold heart to shine from.  To really emphasize the special vip’s big impending event, a banner hung from above saying, “Miss, Mrs.” This banner was beautifully created with black and white vertical stripes and gold lettering and details.

All of the treats were labeled on a fun, pink and gold tag that was easy to see.  Tasty options in the edible department included pudding, cupcakes, cheesecake, cake pops and more. The treats were perfectly designed to match the Let Love Sparkle theme with sweet tags shaped like hearts and some with adorable little words like “Love.”

A wonderful idea used at this party to make things simpler for the bride was a section set up with envelopes for the guests to fill out their name and addresses on, so when it was time to write up thank-you notes, she wouldn’t have to worry about having that information.

Another adorable idea to involve the guests in a unique way was to have them all write down fun date options for down the road, rather than just giving advice. This area had a fantastically drawn up chalkboard sign.

An entire section was set aside to give out the thank gifts, a table with a deep purple cover stood out boldly.  On this table a delightful tray of bagged goodies awaited the visitors along with a special place for everyone to fill out recipe cards for the bride.
