Green and White Mint to Be Bridal Shower

With a fun play on words, this Green and White Mint to Be Bridal Shower had a lovely, elegant look that was sure to be enjoyed by all. Beautifully designed by Dani from emotion, this sweet shower was a gorgeous display of soft green and white tones.

Taking advantage of a beautiful day, the party was thrown outdoors, letting the sun light up all of the decor in a natural way. A covered porch area made an ideal setting for the dessert buffet area, and was decorated from top to bottom fantastically.

A backdrop of mint, white and neutrally toned ribbons hung in a row set the stage for a delicious and stylish looking table. On each side mason jars with candles tied with a soft lacy ribbon hung, giving a sweet accent to the backdrop. The sweets were all frosted to match the theme in pinks and yellows that stood out in a tasty way. A tiered tray held yummy chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and an adorable cake stood in the center. Baby’s breath was used to add a natural touch to each end of the table too.

A long row of tables was set up to provide the delicious food for the guests. A fantastic vintage style mirror frame was turned into a chalkboard to display the theme title beautifully. On each side of this frame pictures of the happy couple were hung in a row. The menu for this party was extensive, ensuring that everyone would find something they could love. From meatballs to blts, the table was filled with color and variety.

No party is complete without some fun games and this one had a classic called, “he said, she said.” It had a list of things that the couple had talked about and of course, whoever could guess correctly which person had said what, they won.

Colorful Fiesta Bridal Shower

Prints for Events had a rare opportunity to style a Colorful Fiesta Bridal Shower for their future sister-in-law and this was an event to remember! With an abundance of paper flowers, vibrant colors and festive flare, this party had everything you could ask for.

The invitations made a perfect intro to the festivities with a blast of bright colors and flowers. With inspiration from the lovely Mexican embroidery on the traditional peasant dresses, a sweet border was made for the top of the invitations that stood out. Matching printables were made that were used for the rest of the venue area as well included food labels, drink tags, water bottle labels, signs, mad libs and advice cards, all of which can be purchased from www.printsforevents.etsy.com.

For fun accents, cacti were placed throughout the party area along with fantastic DIY paper flowers, a DIY pinata and even Mexican blankets. Each of the guests got to wear a DIY paper crown, so everyone would feel super special.

A delightful array of Mexican foods were offered including a classic sopapilla cheesecake. Chips and guacamole were set on a large tray right beside a tower of yummy looking fruit cups. The table was decorated with a colorful tissue banner that match the theme perfectly.

For beverages, authentic Mexican sodas were sure to hit the spot. Each of the guest cups featured a label that they could write their name on, so no glasses would get mixed up.

Even the silverware went with the theme, lots of colors all wrapped up nicely and set in a fun metal holder. They were set beside an adorable looking cacti of course!

For a unique activity, everyone got to fill out a mad lib and put it into a pinata, that was broken open later in the day for everyone to enjoy.

This Modern Kate Spade Inspired Bridal Shower featured a fun take on a favorite theme using bright colors to add a pop of fun to the decor. Sobrina from Quiet Like Horses was the gorgeous bride-to-be and with a lot of work from her and her friends and family, the party was a stylish and fabulous event.

The invites created for the party were bold and girly, with a vibrant pink balloon and yellow font that let everyone know all the details.

A venue with lots of bright lighting helped to create the relaxed and cozy feel to the event, really making all of the decorations stand out nicely.

The dessert table had a bold pink cover with a black and white striped runner, going with a classic Kate Spade effect. This table had a perfect blend of tasty edibles and decorations, keeping interest easily. Framed art and photos make wonderful table fillers. A tower of donuts called from the back of the table, decorated with adorable little sticks with bows and fun phrases.

To create lasting photos a lovely backdrop was made with XO as the centerpiece. Gold tinsel and large balloons added to the glamour, giving a fantastic place for pictures to remember.

A tasty looking mimosa bar was also provided for guests to enjoy with easy to create beverages for guests to try out. Adorable mini bottles made a great option for filling champagne glasses decorated with glittery clothespins. There were even frozen berries in lieu of ice cubes for a delicious way to keep the drinks cool.

Shimmering Kate Spade Inspired Bridal Shower

Retro Red And White Bridal Shower

This Retro Red And White Bridal Shower was designed and customized by The Party Hostess Sri Lanka. Using red and white as the theme colors, this venue had a bright and lighthearted vibe that made it stand out.

The venue chosen for the event was vibrant with natural lighting, being outdoors. White furniture was used as a base for the abounding red and white decorations.

A gorgeous cabinet was set outside with a white backdrop that had a window cut out of it and red and white plaid curtains hanging, creating a fabulous retro look. The backdrop was wrapped with a lovely vine, giving a touch of green color. This table held all of the wonderful treats from white frosted cake pops to sugar cookies that were shaped to match the theme. A scrumptious looking cake stood in the center with a lovely red topper. It stood on a cake tray that was laced with a plaid red and white ribbon.

For guest gifts, red velvet cake was prepare in adorable little jars, each wrapped in a red bow and labeled with a cute little personalized tag.

The tables set up for eating at were perfectly decorated with all sorts of fun details. A long row of flowers was arranged beautifully down the center, placed in creative holders from pop bottles to vegetable cans. On each plate a gift of baking utensils was placed, so everyone would have a fun and lasting memory of the party. The flowers were all a bold shade of red, giving the tables a dramatic look.

Another fun bit of decor that made this party stand out from others was framed artwork showcasing retro pictures for the guests to enjoy checking out. There were also adorable bottles labeled with retro art and tied with red and white ribbons.

Elegant Spring Bridal Cocktail Party

This Elegant Spring Bridal Cocktail Party brought the beverage part of the party to life with all sorts delightful concoctions for guests to enjoy. Designed by The Little Things, the venue for this get-together was a perfect blend of elegance and style.

The invitations for the party were gorgeous creations of purple, pink and green with a soft font that looked quite lovely.

The venue chosen for the event was very beautiful with lots of windows for natural lighting and fantastic wood floors. Guest tables of pure white were a wonderful stage for overflowing bouquets of colorful flowers. With candlesticks and elegant dinnerware, the tables were sure to have guests feeling luxurious.

Treats offered included fantastic macarons in pastels that blended with the theme in a delicious way.

The drinks created at this party were purely delicious and with these recipes you can make your own right at home!

Kir Royales

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons creme de cassis

1/4 cup fresh raspberries

1 bottle moderately priced French Champagne, chilled

Preparation: Place 4 champagne flutes in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Remove and add 1 tablespoon of the creme de cassis to each flute and a few raspberries. Fill each flute to the top with champagne and serve immediately.

Peach Rosemary Spritzers

Ingredients:

3/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups water

4 large ripe peaches (about 1 3/4 pounds), halved, pitted, and cut into 1-inch slices

4 sprigs rosemary, plus more for garnish

Ice, for serving

4 cups cold white or rose wine

1 liter cold club soda

Preparation: Bring sugar and water to a boil in a medium saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add peaches and rosemary, and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat. Cover, and let cool. Discard rosemary. Peel peach slices if desired. Transfer peaches with syrup to a container, cover; Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight. Place 2 peach slices and about 1/4 cup syrup in 8 ice-filled glasses. Add 1/2 cup wine to each; top with club soda. Garnish each with a rosemary sprig, and serve immediately.

The Lillet Rose

Ingredients:

12 ounces Lillet Rose

12 ounces ruby red grapefruit juice

6 ounces gin

6 edible flowers

Preparation: Combine 6 ounces Lillet, 6 ounces grapefruit juice, 3 ounces gin, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake until well chilled. Strain and divide cocktail among 3 stemmed cocktail glasses, such as champagne coupes. Repeat. Garnish with flowers; Serve immediately.
